An officer wanted me to demonstrate the functionality of my Canon A-1. His refusal to have his portrait taken led to this frame on Cinestill.
Producing Behold The Ocean mostly on film meant to explain thoroughly to security staff what I was doing in Chile during the pandemic. I had organized my film rolls in transparent ziplock bags in my carry-on luggage, always ready to demand manual control.
